Some of the questions we get asked every now and then.

Will my existing hatch work?
Often yes. If it’s too small or in an awkward spot, we can resize or relocate the hatch during the same visit and fit a draught-sealed, insulated door for better efficiency.
Which ladder is best for my space?
- Aluminium 3-section: light, great value, easy to use.
- Timber folding: solid feel underfoot, quieter action, built-in handrail options.
- Telescopic: best for tight landings/small hatches.
We’ll measure ceiling height and clearance, then recommend the safest, easiest option.
How long does installation take—and how messy is it?
Most ladders are fitted same day (often within a few hours). We protect walkways, control dust, tidy up fully, and give a demo so you’re confident using it before we leave.
